About Us
The Wessex Singers is a Wimborne Choir of about 40 singers, established by its musical director Christopher Dowie in 1979. This East Dorset choir is promoted by Wimborne Music Society and usually gives three main concerts a year, often with Wimborne Minster Chamber Orchestra, as well as singing the occasional service in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, in the absence of the Minster Choir.
