The Wessex Singers with "La Valmontaise" The town of Wimborne Minster is twinned with Valognes, France, "La Valmontaise" is the Valognes/Monteburg Choral Society.

About Us

The Wessex Singers is a Wimborne Choir of about 40 singers, established by its musical director Christopher Dowie in 1979. Wessex Singeres are promoted by Wimborne Music Society and usually give three main concerts a year, as well as singing the occasional service in Wimborne Minster, Dorset.
